| Pest Stoppa For Existing Weepholes |
Using a bolster or screwdriver, knock out any blockages in the weephole. (Be careful not to damage the flashing behind and below the weephole.)
|
 | | Push the Pest Stoppa firmly into the weephole with the fan shape at the top. The fringes will bend and fill the cavity. Continue pushing until the Pest Stoppa fits entirely into the weephole. |
|
When installing Weepa Pest Stoppa do not use silicon or any other material which will obstruct ventilation.
|
| HINTS FOR PROBLEM WEEP HOLES | |
| Short weepholes with excess mortar at top or bottom, or under windows | |
 | Use scissors to trim the bottom of the Pest Stoppa as necessary. |
|
| Narrow weep holes where bricks are very close together | |
 | If weep hole is also short then first trim Pest Stoppa as above. | |
Then warm it and squeeze firmly between your fingers bending the fringes back towards the grip before inserting. | |
In desperate cases where the weep holes are extremely narrow you may need to cut the Pest Stoppa in half, reducing it to one layer of fringe. |
|
| Wide weepholes and subfloor vents | |
 | Join two Pest Stoppas side by side with a rubber band and insert as one unit. |
