Weepa is an Australian owned family company founded in the early 90s. The catalyst was the idea of a Queensland bricklayer-render who wanted to make weepholes look and function better.
Home in the early years was a farm shed on a Northern NSW mango orchard. The ambitions were modest - to help a farming family survive the ups and downs of life on the land.
A reverse sea change in 2006 to vibrant inner city Brisbane intensified the focus and shifted the pace from tractor to racing car!
November 2007 saw the launch of the first of a new generation of products, the High Performance Bushfire Weepa, winner of Best New Product Award at the 2008 Form and Function Expo in conjunction with the Royal Australian Institute of Architects. Next, in August 2008 came the complete range of New Generation Weepas incorporating design features of the High Performance Bushfire Weepa.
We strive to develop innovative patented products to solve particular problems with weepholes. Our commitment to research and industry consultation has seen us grow into a specialised dynamic company making a growing contribution to ‘best practice’ in the building industry.

Lynne Oldfield - Director - CEO
Breathed life into the company through development of marketing strategies and business systems. Initially motivated by the need to pay for groceries when hail wiped out mango crops. Loves great systems and happy work places.

John Flint - Director - Product Development
Previous winner of the Australian Design Award in 1992 and developer of the award winning New Generation Weepa range. Loves ideas and the design process. Often heard saying “Every good idea starts with a problem.”

Wendy Maclurcan - Administration
Joined Weepa in 2008 with a background in IT and motherhood. Attends to every detail with incredible efficiency. As she said on her job application - brings a ‘can do attitude and friendly smile’ to everything she does.

Tiffany Lawrence - Sales
Joined Weepa in 2010 with a background in management, customer service and liaison with volunteers. Gives every order and enquiry top priority, loves dealing with people and competes with Wendy for the friendliest smile.

Louise Prizeman - Sales
Joined Weepa in 2011 after a background managing a busy law practice. She brings a quiet, careful, focused efficiency to every task with abundant warmth and humour thrown in.
